You got lucky, the regular scans stop around 250,000 but I had captured a sample of the newer ones for the chart at http://www.wcha.org/catalogs/old-town/oldtown_chart.html including this one. The Old Town canoe with serial number 528733 is a 16 foot long Otca model. It was built between December, 1995 and January, 1996. A scan of this build record can be found by following the link behind the thumbnail image attached below.
This scan and several hundred thousand more were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others as you probably know well. A description of the project to preserve these records is available at http://www.wcha.org/catalogs/old-town/records/ if you want more details. I appreciate your life membership to the WCHA so that services like this can continue.
It is possible that you could have another number or manufacturer if this description doesn't match your canoe. Feel free to reply here if you have any other questions. Go buy a lottery ticket,
Here are some pics.....
It was factory glassed and neglected. It was the easiest glass removal that I’ve ever done because much of it was delaminated. Customer wants it glassed again. To my surprise there was two layers of glass on it.
