New Stapler

I’ve had several staplers in 20 years of canoe and small boat restoration. Probably a half a dozen Stanley manual staplers and one electric stapler. The electric had a hair trigger and was downright dangerous. The Stanley staplers worked well for a time until they got dropped or fell off a hull enough that they just jammed or sent two staples or were just a general PITA.
Recently I bought a pneumatic stapler by Arrow. I’ve used it on three boats and have not had a jam or a funky deployment. I’m thoroughly impressed and much more efficient when stretching canvas.

Do you have other air powered tools - sanders, drills etc. - or does the stapler have a discrete compressor?

I've gotten good at disassembly/reassembly of my three staplers. One electric and two that apply pressure at the front as opposed to the rear of the stapler, like stanley. But my stapplers get a small amount of use compared to yours.
