Hi
Well, have accepted the fact that my y-stern will likely not be ready this season, barring a lottery win of course. Just not worth rushing, and with my oh so short open water season here I realize i'd rather be on the water fishing than working on it every weekend through the summer. So, my options are use my plastic canoe (which is my first choice if I'm planning on bringing home a moose) or make a mount for my 17 Chestnut prospector. I know I've seen something about here before but can't find. Anyone out there who has done and could share a pic? It's an electric motor, 32lbs thrust so fairly light and I generally only use at troll speed. Ideally, is there a way to do without drilling gunwales? And of course quick detach (I'm thinking wingnuts), as I still love paddling but for serious fishing my electric motor out produces by a ton.
Thanks
Gary
