The Morris Canoe: Legacy of an American Family is live on Amazon and will be available soon through the WCHA store. It's also available for download onto a Kindle, but this format eliminates page numbering and compresses things-- text and images are there, but not as "artistically placed". Profits will go to the WCHA, whichever way it is purchased.

The cover image is based on a photo Scottie Baker sent me of her canoe, Tsigana, which my daughter Margaret turned into a magical book-cover.

It should be in the bookstore soon. I'm hoping the Amazon site (and availability of the book on Kindle) will lure a few into the fold...

I should add that my daughter Margaret-- who made the cover-- is 8 1/2 months pregnant and has a two-year-old, so deserves a medal. Overall, lots of love went into this book!
