Michigan Chapter, Quiet Water Symposium

The Michigan Chapter will have a booth at the 18th annual QWS Saturday March 2, 2013. This is being held at Michigan State Agricultural Pavilion East Lansing Michigan. Gil Cramer will be canvassing at least 2 canoes. Wendy Kimpel will be there with her beautiful baskets! Stop by and say hello.
Our Chapter President Russ Hicks will be presented the Verlen Kruger Award at 12 noon.
 
The Verlen Kruger Award is given annually to a person who has supported and promoted conservation and paddle sports in Michigan. Russ has been working on the dams through Eaton Rapids canoe-able.
