LOVES Wooden Canoes
ID this please!

I met this lady out paddling. She and her husband had an old wood canoe that her parents bought and she has been using it since she was a kid. I told her to look here for an ID. Saw her today, she says that you folks told her possible Rushton but I cant find her post. Can someone link me to it?

Anyway here are other pictures to help ID. Serial number was 757 on both stems but very faint and didn't show up in the pictures. It's all Mahogany trim. I now know two WCHA members in the county!
Any help appreciated!

The stern seat looks like Rushton as do the inwales. Rusthon used cherry for rails. BUT I'm not real good at id. The decks on my Rushton are heart shaped. Someone else will chime in with better knowledge.

Thanks Dave,
Mark A called me he said Rushton, so most likely is cherry. She obviously talked to someone here. Interesting story to it. She loves it and uses it. I am going to go look at another one she has that is a wreck. She wants to restore it. Another post.
Thanks!
