An internet search came up with some info. I didn’t do a deep dive, nor did I see any double end row boats. I did see reference to 64 different models being produced fro their factory.
 
I think they were a wooden frame covered by a sort of galvanized steel / aluminum metal (ish) stuff.
 
Dan, are they talking about aluminum PAINT?
No, Mullins and Michigan Steel were building steel boats with wood trim. They were a pretty big deal back in the day.

Mullins also happened to build wood canvas canoes, but only for about twelve years between 1911 and 1923.

Edit to say they did offer to paint them with aluminum paint or dead grass paint. Both were common at the time.
