Looking for Old Town Record

Welcome, the Old Town canoe with serial number 214031 is an 18 foot long Chipewyan model with aluminum inserts in the rails that weighed 74 pounds. It was built in June, 1976. The original exterior color was yellow. It shipped on June 10th, 1976 to Minneapolis, Minnesota. The back side of this scan shows that it had an exterior vinyl skuff on the bow end under the deck on the outside. Scans of both sides of this build record can be found by following the links at the attached thumbnail images below.
These scans and several hundred thousand more were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others.
