Looking for information about serial number.

I have a canoe with serial number 1433 3021. Does anyone have any information or know where I could learn more.

The "1433" portion of the serial number tells us your canoe is a Peterborough Canoe Company Otonabee model canoe. It was built sometime between 1940/41 and 1956.

They are just the work order number. No records are known to survive to match it up with.

Any ideas on what this canoe might be worth? My husband was told when he was given the canoe it was from 1940. We have had it fully restored.
