I'm looking for the year it was made ,if it is number 492 or 1492
Because the first item looks like an I not a one,
I need a new canvas skin any ideas on where I could have one made
I do not have the old one,
I'm looking for any and all Information I can find, any help or advise?,
Picture,Instructions,books,Web sites.
Would like to restore. What is the value?,
Would this be for a museum or just keep for personal use.
Thanks,Dave

You will want to get the back issue of Wooden Canoe issue 160 (August 2010), which has Tom McCloud's article Ed Link and His Linkanoe. (Back Issues: http://store.wcha.org/WCHA-Magazine-Back-Issues/)

There are plenty of Linkanoes held in captivity in museums, so you should feel free to enjoy yours. My own is half-assembled and standing on end in the living room.

Hi,Dan
First Thank you for your time and help ,I will start by getting the back issue.
Do you have any information about their serial numbers ?I have what looks
To be letter I492 unless it is 1492. I don't know the year.
Thanks,Dave

Wasn't easy to see, but it looks like my SN is i666 or 999i - I used lower case "i" because upper case looks like lower case L or possibly 1.
