Hello I just bought my first wood canoe today. It's had work done over the years - decks, fiberglass shell, oar locks and a short keel. Not a purist boat, but I fell in love with the shape and beauty inside. I would love to rebuild the original decks. The plate is Kennebec "Charles River 1915" number 6525. Any info would be wonderful, thanks!

Unfortunately, and for some unknown reason, the Charles River 1915 records are not included in the ledgers preserved at the Maine State Museum. As far as I know, it is the only model missing from those records...
