Joy Boy!!!

Michigan Canoe Nut
Well, got the Joy Boy out after a little fiberglass patch work(don't worry, I separated it from the planking). Some sanding of the flaking paint and a sloppy coat of rustoleum. Put the '27 ELTO Ruddertwin on it and joined a charity event to help pay for medical expenses for a guy that just got a new heart. As you can see, I was the smallest, and oldest boat in the party. They barley acknowledged my 85 year old combo! The moter ran great and the boat performed the way I imagined it to. Not so good alone in the stern though! The real restoration to happen in a few years but at least I can play with it for now.
