Joseph B. Emerson Company's canoes and the Wilcox models

Can anyone provide more information about the Joseph B. Emerson Company's canoes and their Wilcox models as described in the catalog below? I don't recall ever seeing one with a tag showing either of those names. Their claim of being the "Exclusive Manufacturer of Extra Long Deck Canoes" seems unlikely. Thanks,

Benson

I suspect Wilcox is Willis A. Wilcox, who was working for C. P. Nutting in 1897, J. R. Robertson in 1901, and Emerson in 1905. He is simply listed as a boatbuilder in 1907 (Waltham City Directory) and 1910. He moved to Rhode Island in 1912.

An addendum - I have a note that references the 1899 American Canoe Association yearbook indicating that Wilcox also worked for Arnold. I will have to try to verify that when I return home. In the meantime if anyone has a copy of that yearbook, please let me know.
