But it's not Gil's fault. I was given another rotten 18' Penn Yan Guide. The Upper Penninsula of Michigan chapter needed an construction demo. So, taking a trick from Gil, I cut out a section from the middle for the UP Chapter and am in process of making a 14' 10" x 32" x 12" small canoe. There is much rot to contend with. But I think anything is possible here in the land of derelict canoe whisperings. I already have too many 18'ers and should could use a 15'er for knocking around.
