Howdy--
Old Town 173504 is a 15 foot fifty-pound model, constructed between November 1963 and April 1964. It has half ribs and a keel and was painted "lettuce green", so keep it away from the rabbits! It was shipped April 24, 1964 to Herman Carlson of Ottumwa, Iowa.
There's less information on "later" build records such as this one... I'm not sure how to answer your question re the planking when the record doesn't specify "WC" for red Western cedar, or "MC" for Maine cedar. Benson or Dan, or someone else, will have to jump in with the final answer...

Thank You Kathy ! I'm not disappointed, but surprised, I was told it was a 1992 trapper, (I actually thought it was a little beat for 16 yrs.) but it was a great deal. The weirdest thing is that according to the build sheet, it was started before I was born, and canvassed the day after I was born ! It was being made when I was. Fate, karma, destiny, deja vu, ??
