Hi all, my name is Trev, and my son and I are about to embark on quite a journey of learning. We have a 14' Huron in need of serious TLC, and we intend to do our level best to restore this creation back into a sea-worthy companion. I'm just starting to discover the nooks and crannies of this great website and I find more information and inspiration around every corner. Thanks for letting me in, hope to meet you all in turn.

Trev.

A few pictures of a restored 14' Huron for inspiration.

Thanks guys, nice to be here.
davelanthier, that's one lovely canoe! I'd be thrilled if mine turns out even half as nice as that. Thanks for posting the pics, 'scuse me while I wipe the drool off my screen.

I love the look of that shade of green. Exactly what manufacturer and color is it? I'd like to use it on my 1940 Old Town Yankee as an alternative to the more common dark OT green.

Thanks

Nothing fancy. Tremclad gloss "green" here in Canada. Rustoleum is the same manufacturer in the US but I don't know if they have the same "green".
