flooring for wide board and batten canoe

LOVES Wooden Canoes
While I'm having my Lime (basswood equivalent) board machined to get my planking, I might as well have the pieces made for the floor boards too.
Is there anyone can tell me how thick these need to be, and can anyone show me, or point to pictures where I can see sizes in proportion to the boat and fastening methods? Thanks

Sam

Hi,

Here are a few pictures to include an almost full length shot of a single piece floor board a shot showing the board held down with a clip and the clip.

There were usually 3 on the length of the inside and about 4 on the outside.

I'd have to look closer at one of my canoes.

The boards are out 5/16 to 3/8 thick.

Good luck,

Paul

Thanks for this Paul - I was ready to give up waiting and that's an amazing collection you have there.
