Canvas Filler

Hi, I just finished applying an oil based canvas filler purchased from George Kirby Jr Paint Company in New Bedford MA and I was very impressed with their product. It goes on nicely, sets up well and with a little elbow grease and a canvas mitt it smooths out wonderfully. I've tried some others but really likes this product. Has anyone else tried theirs?

Their product is based on Bill Clements' formula and I have always liked Bill's filler. I recently bought some of the Kirby variety and it was quite a bit thinner (less solids) than in a can of Bill's that I still have. Unfortunately, I have not had a chance to try the new stuff. These guys know their paint, so maybe thinner is better too. Thank you for posting. I may try it right out of the can before monkeying with the solids.
