The Old Town canoe with serial number 154941 is an 18 foot long, CS (common sense or middle) grade, square ended paddling model with a rowing seat, red western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, ash decks, pine thwarts, pine seats, half ribs, a keel, an outside stem, and sponsons. It was built between October, 1950 and January, 1951. The original exterior paint color was dark green enamel. It shipped on July 3rd, 1952 to Frederick, Maryland.
