The Old Town canoe with serial number 107900 is a 20 foot long, GS (Guide Special or utility) grade, guide model with red Western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, oak decks, oak thwarts, oak seats, half ribs and a keel. It was built between October, 1930 and May, 1931. The original exterior paint color was G. S. (Guide's Special) gray. It shipped on May 18th, 1931 to New Auburn, Wisconsin. This scan and several hundred thousand more were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others as you probably know well.
