1913 Old Town HW outwale and gunwale top

Hello Group,
I have a 1913, 15 foot HW Old Town. During the past 92 years someone had replace the outwale and the gunwale top that was definitely not an OEM design. Does anyone have any info or/drawings/photos on these features?

Take a look at illustration (b), pg 35 of the "bible": The Wood & Canvas Canoe by Jerry Stelmok and Rollin Thurlow. That cross section is one of the best illustrations I have come across. Helped a lot with my restoration.

It has been restored, but might give you some ideas
