Hi Adam,
Your canoe is a 16 foot CS Grade (middle Grade) OTCA Model with western red cedar planking, open spruce gunwales and a keel. It was built in 1949, painted a shade of blue that I can't make out and sold to a business in Reedsburg, WI.
This scan and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others. A description of the project to preserve these records is available at http://www.wcha.org/ot_records/ if you want more details.
