    Texturing on center half-ribs - 15' Greenwood

    In examining my newly acquired 15' Greenwood, I discovered that two (the sternmost) of the center three half-ribs have had rather chunky grains of sand varnished onto them. Apparantly for traction, but not for when sitting in the seats. Standing? Poling? It it wide at 36" so I can imagine...
