17’ Chestnut Prospector “Garry”

I am repairing a 17’ “Garry”( which has been thru a few renovations already) and can not figure out where the seats should be as there are many carriage bolt holes in the wales and they are also patched. I would like to put them back in there original position

No, catalogs often have overall dimensions for the entire canoe but they typically didn't include detailed information about the seat and thwart locations. This is why I suggested counting the ribs to estimate those locations. Good luck,
