I have been rescanning some of the early Old Town records in color and the ones attached below might be appreciated by others here. Number 4264 was a very fancy AA grade HW with long decks and many accessories that shipped to Big Moose Lake in May of 1906. It appears to have survived until 1977 when there was a previous request for a copy of this build record. Big Moose has a tradition of Old Town centerboard sailing canoes that dates to the 1920s but it appears that their appreciation of fancy canoes goes much further back.

Number 5015 is a double ended boat that shipped to B. M. Packard in August of 1906. There was a H. A. Packard who built canoes in that area from about 1923 to 1926 according to the information at http://wcha.org/legacypages/maine-list.htm so there may be a connection between these two individuals.

(Mike, your link is missing.)

I suspect the nickel plated Adirondack row locks were pinned guidebook-style oarlocks.
