Old town canoe Serial number xtc00569j788

I have an old town canoe with the serial number xtc00569j788 I haven't been able to find out any information as to the model or specs or value. We inherited this canoe, and I haven't been able to find any paperwork. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It appears to be 16' fiberglass? Any ideas on what the model name would be?

Welcome, this Old Town has serial number 300569 but the scanned records stop shortly after 250000 so we don't have any additional information available to share. The information at https://www.usps.org/national/safety/HIN/HIN.pdf indicates that it was made in May of 1987 for the 1988 model year. My guess is that you may have a Camper model made from Oltonar/Royalex which is not the same as fiberglass. The page describing this model from the 1988 catalog is attached below. A similar canoe sold at https://www.ebay.com/itm/354826607731 on eBay recently for $290. Let me know if you have any other questions.
