Old Town Canoe Serial Number

Welcome, the Old Town canoe with serial number 202241 is a 17 foot long fiberglass Carleton Voyageur model that weighed 86 pounds at the factory. It was built in June, 1974. The original exterior gelcoat color was avocado. It shipped on June 20th, 1974 to Oil City, Pennsylvania. A note on the back side indicated that the bottom was unusually rough. Scans showing both sides of this build record can be found below.
These scans and several hundred thousand more were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others.
