OLD BOATS LOOKING FOR A GOOD HOME; EXCELLENT PRICES:
Family looking to find new homes for old boats; all four of these boats are free. All are currently located in Iowa City, IA.
= One Old Town Otca, 18 foot, wood and canvas, mount for sail (no sail), serial no. 170851. According to 1965 letter from Old Town , Old Town shipped it April 6, 1961 to Iowa City , IA.
Almost the canvas was in poor condition, almost all of it was removed. Condition of wood frame seems ok, but there is some damage to the gunwales right at the stern and bow. Photos available.
= One Folbot, two person, old.
= One single-person kayak, homemade about 1949, reportedly from a pattern in Popular Mechanics. Lightweight wooden frame, covered with white canvas.
= One Old Town wooden freighter canoe, holds five or six, deep sides. Originally covered with canvas. Keel broken by a falling tree branch.
