Hi, looking for any info on a canoe with serial number 104604 18. I'm new to this forum and forgive my ignorance. Thanks for nay help.

So very sorry to have missed your request! Old Town 104604 is an 18 foot CS (common sense or middle) grade Guide model canoe that was completed January-May of 1930. It has open spruce gunwales and a keel and was originally guide special green. No species is noted for the decks, thwarts, and seats, but it would be any hardwood except mahogany. The canoe was shipped to Lake Hopatcong, NJ, on May 29, 1930. Image of the scan of this record is attached below-- click on it to get a larger image.
This scan and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others.
