Brass Old Town Decal Tag

I have a customer requesting a brass old town tag with a 1977 correct decal on it. I have seen them on occasion on E-Bay, but there are none there now. Does anybody have an extra for sale or know where I can get one?

These tags show up on eBay regularly so it probably won't be long before you can get one there. I may have an extra old worn one somewhere if you are in a real hurry. Another option is to buy a plastic Old Town canoe in good condition from the last thirty years and remove the brass plate from the deck. These brass tags weren't created until 1979 as shown at http://www.wcha.org/catalogs/old-town/covers/large-79.gif when they were featured on the catalog cover. The WCHA store has the correct decal for a 1977 canoe at http://store.wcha.org/Old-Town-Decal-1956-1978.html and a vinyl representation of the brass tag at http://store.wcha.org/Old-Town-Decal-1979-present.html is another option. Thanks Benson! I, too have a cruddy one from an abandoned OT Pathfinder that I found in the woods with the gunwales rotted off.
Maybe I can talk them into a decal.
