Tips on painting

Wooden Canoe Maniac
Since it's gotten cold again here I must resort to thinking about canoes instead of working on them. I remember someone in these Forums once clued me in on a great article someone wrote on her technique for painting canoes. She had great results with mirror-like finishes. I remember reading the article but have since lost the link. Anyone know what & who I'm talking about?

The Journal index at http://www.wcha.org/journal/Index to Wooden Canoe.pdf shows these articles by Pam Wedd as:

Paint Perfection: Coming to the Defense of the Bristle Brush 132:4-7
Paint Perfection Part 2: Tips and Tricks for Varnishing the Inside of Your Canoe 133:9-13
Paint Perfection Part 3: Painting the Canoe - Primer to the Final Coats 135:4-9

Back issues are available from http://store.wcha.org/Wooden-Canoe-Journal-Back-Issues.html and http://store.wcha.org/Wooden-Canoe-Journal-Archive-on-CD-ROM.html has the whole set. Her work is outstanding as shown at http://users.vianet.ca/bearwood/ on her web site.
