Ray: The Old Town canoe with serial number 143095 is an 16 foot long, CS grade, Yankee model with open spruce gunwales, ash decks, thwarts, seats and a keel. It was built between October 1945 and January 1946. The original exterior paint color was maroon. Reference is made on the back of the card that repairs were made including new ribs, planking, rails and thwarts in the September to October 1954 time frame. It shipped on January 25, 1946 to Rochester, New York. A scan of this build record can be found by following the link at the attached thumbnail image below.
