The Old Town canoe with serial number 165433 is 16 feet long, CS (common sense or standard) grade, a Guide model with thwarts in place of seats, and a keel. It was built in 1956, being finished on October 16, 1956. The original exterior paint color was Guide Special green. It was shipped on April 3, 1957 to Auburn, Maine. This scan and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others.
