Welcome, the Old Town canoe with serial number 67722 is a 16 foot long, CS (Common Sense or middle) grade, Charles River model with red western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, ash decks, ash thwarts, ash seats, a keel, outside stems, and a floor rack. It was built between November, 1921 and April, 1922. The original exterior paint color was dark red. It was shipped on April 25th, 1922 to New Richmond, Michigan. This scan and several hundred thousand more were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others.
