Paint for Filler

Were I live I do not have a large selection of paint stores. I need paint for filler, I can get Benjamin Moore gray porch paint it is Alkyd Enamel. It also says on the can urethane reinforced. will the urethane make a difference ?
.

We have a canoe that was restored by Ralph Mintz, who painted it with Benjamin Moore porch and deck paint, alkyd Enamel, reinforced with urethane.

This is our third summer with the canoe; the paint seems quite durable, and flexible enough to withstand a few bumps. How much the urethane helps I can't say -- it surely doesn't seem to hurt, and we are quite pleased with the paint.

I believe that Ralph uses the paint regularly, and I have just bought some for a canoe I am in the process of restoring.

I can't say for sure BUT it seems to me you should be fine using it to make filler. I've been using latex primer/sealer interior/exterior with good results lately for filler. I get it from Sherwin Williams.
