The Old Town canoe with serial number 87627 is a 17 foot long, CS (common sense or middle) grade, Otca model with red western cedar planking, open spruce oval gunwales, oak decks, oak thwarts, oak seats, a keel, and a floor rack. It was built between April, 1925 and January, 1926. The original exterior paint color was blue. It shipped on February 22nd, 1926 to New York City.
