The Old Town canoe with serial number 105229 is a 17 foot long, CS (Common Sense or middle) grade, HW (Heavy Water) model with red western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, a keel, and a floor rack. It was built between February and June, 1930. The original exterior paint color was bright red. It was shipped on June 21st, 1930 to Ashland, New Hampshire.
