Old Town 149621 is an 18 foot CS (common sense) grade HW model canoe completed between September 1947 and May 1948. It has open spruce gunwales and ash decks/thwarts/seat frames, a keel and half ribs. It was painted dark green and shipped to Newington, Connecticut on August 11, 1950.
The scan of this record is attached below-- click on it to get a larger image. This scan and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others.
