Hello American Picker--
Old Town 165399 is a 16 foot AA (top) grade Guide model canoe that was completed July-September 1956. It has a keel and was painted dark green, then shipped to Watkins Glen, NY, on June 14 (flag day), 1957. A copy of the scan of this record is attached below-- click on it to get a giant-sized replica.
This scan and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others. A description of the project to preserve these records is available at http://www.wcha.org/ot_records/ if you want more details.
