I am restoring this old town that belonged to my grandfather. needs some work on gunwals, new varnish,canvas etc. would appreciate any help in where to get parts, although ribs and planking seem in very good conditionl

If you click on "build and restore" on the main page of this website, there's some information on where to find supplies. You can also use the "search" function at the top of this page to find answers to questions you might have... or post questions in the "wood-canvas, fiberglass" topic. Many here have restored canoes similar to yours and everyone is great when it comes to sharing tips.

An important thing to remember is that we like pictures... lots of "before, during, and after" shots!
