Mother's Day Surprise!

Gayle and I were part of a big Mother's Day surprise. I restored this Thompson Hiawatha for a friend locally, to give to his wife for Mother's Day. We put in across the lake from where they live and paddled to their lake home. As we approached, the husband lured his wife to the lakeshore to surprise here with her new canoe!

Thats awesome, and a great looking boat!. I restored a Peterborough for the 90yr old owner, who hadnt paddled it in 30 or so years, its a great feeling.
