Is Old Town Serial No 218428 a Tripper?

The dimensions alone will tell you if it's a Tripper. They're slightly longer than 17' (17'2" or so) and very deep hulls (around 15" at the middle). They also have a rather bulbous lower stem down near the waterline. None of the other recent Old Town had those dimensions.
The Old Town canoe with serial number 218428 is a 17 foot long Chipewyan model with aluminum inserts in the vinyl rails. It was built in August, 1977. The original exterior color was green. It shipped on August 22nd, 1977 to North Conway, New Hampshire. The back side of this scan shows that there was a line the length of the hull on the inside and small soft spots on both ends.
