1978? Old Town Tripper 220577

I just purchased an Old Town Tripper from the original owner. He thinks he bought it in 1978. The serial number is 220577. I'm wondering if the build record is available. Thanks in advance for any information you can find

Welcome and congratulations, the Old Town canoe with serial number 220577 is a 17 foot long Chipewyan Tripper model with aluminum inserts in the rails that weighed 73 pounds. It was built in February, 1978. The original exterior color was blue. It shipped on March 20th, 1978 to Monroe, New Hampshire. The back side of the record indicates that there were a skin cut on the stern end, paper marks, skin lines on the outside of the hull at the stern, and some bad scratches on the inside.
