The Old Town canoe with serial number 191827 is a 16 foot long FG (fiberglass) model. It was built in October, 1972. The original exterior gelcoat colors were blue and desert white. It shipped on November 8th, 1972 to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. A scan showing this build record can be found by following the link at the attached thumbnail image below.
This scan and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others.
