Canoeist and sailor
Wanted to share a photo from the Carleton University Magazine (Ottawa, ON CA). The accompanying story tells of a student who commuted to her classes in a canoe circa 1964. The campus is on both the Rideau Canal and Rideau River, making possible this unusual means of getting to class - at least in the warmer weather before the Canal is drained to become the World's Largest Skating Rink.
