Just for anyone interested.....November 4 and 5, 2009

Dr. James Raffan, Executive Director of the Canadian Canoe Museum in Peterborough, Ontario and author of various canoe-related books (e.g the book on Bill Mason), will be giving two, hour-long free talks entitled "National Treasure" on the world's largest collection of canoes at the museum. It is a multi-media, entertaining talk suitable to people of all ages, and obviously of special interest to those with an interest in wooden canoes.

The first talk begins at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at the Vancouver Maritime Museum, 1905 Ogden Avenue in the Kitsilano area of Vancouver. The second talk, November 5 also at 7:00 pm, is at the Mountain Equipment Co-op Store at 130 West Broadway in Vancouver. The talks will be identical...pick the location or time that works best for you.
