Curious about Wooden Canoes
Hello, bought another canoe, don't know why as I am struggling with my morris restoration but I liked the shape of this little boat and I doubt
if I will find one like this in the near future. Found it in Cork brought there 10 years ago from England where it had been in a carpenters shop
for years. Has had little use in recent years sections of the gunnels and some of the brass screws but it is well varnished with no rot and appears
sound. There are no decals or serial numbers, the flag ring? has imported by salters Bristol stamped on it, but I wonder what really is it.

nice canoe!

I'm going to be rattling around over there for 2.5 weeks next May. My offer of assistance still stands!
