John: The Old Town canoe with serial number 87477 is a 16 foot long, CS grade, HW model with open spruce gunwales, birch decks, thwarts, and seats with a keel. It was built between March and April, 1925. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It shipped on May 5th, 1925 to Chicago, Illinois.
