The Old Town canoe with serial number 172928 is an 18 foot long square end model with half ribs, a keel, outside stems, a floor rack, sponsons, a rowing seat, and a bang plate along the full length of the keel. It was built between March, 1963 and April, 1965. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It shipped on April 15th, 1965 to Melvin Village, New Hampshire.
