Saw this canoe on a Facebook marketplace. Looks like an early wide plank canoe, worth saving. Maybe has historical significance?

Based on the stems, looks like the builder may have been a guide boat builder.

It appears to be a rib and batten style which was built by a number of different Canadian manufacturers. The stems are unusual so a guide boat builder is another possibility. It could be an interesting project,

It's a beauty, and I'm tempted. But it's four hours away, plus tolls and ferry rates, and I have two good canoes now.
